Social Media Team Lead — WSU Vancouver

Goal

Build a pre-launch social media presence for a student-developed 3D stealth puzzle-action game from zero — establishing brand voice, growing an audience, and driving awareness before the vertical slice release.

Process

Developed a brand voice guide rooted in the game's eerie, atmospheric tone. Built a content calendar mapped to development milestones, delegated tasks across a team of five, and ran monthly performance reviews. Coordinated via Basecamp and Slack.

Results

2,600 unique individuals reached across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Gained 52 followers across all three platforms and accumulated 220 total interactions — including likes, comments, shares, and saves.

SWCA Holiday Party 2025
Event Campaign November 2025

SWCA Holiday Party

Digital Marketing & Communications Coordinator — Southwest Washington Contractors Association

Goal

Drive registrations for the SWCA's annual holiday party through a targeted social media campaign across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, reaching both member and prospective-member audiences.

Process

Built a content calendar covering sponsorship shoutouts, last-day-to-register reminders, live auction item previews, entertainment announcements, and spotlights on the youth programs that benefit from raised funds. Focused platforms were Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. The creative approach centered on reiterating the positive impact of SWCA's youth programs and tying that mission directly back to the holiday party as the vehicle for funding it.

Results

Add your results here — registrations driven, reach, engagement rate, attendance figures, or any other measurable outcome from the event.

SWCA Tour of the Trades
Multi-Month Campaign Aug – Dec 2025

SWCA Tour of the Trades

Digital Marketing & Communications Coordinator — Southwest Washington Contractors Association

Goal

Drive registrations for an indoor golf tournament co-hosted by the BIA of Clark County, SWCA, and the Cascadia Tech Foundation — while reinforcing that all proceeds fund student scholarships and tool programs. A secondary goal was to document and showcase the event itself to build momentum for future participation.

Process

Add your process here — how you structured the content calendar across the five-month run, the platforms and formats you used, how messaging shifted from pre-registration through event-day coverage, and any coordination with the co-hosting organizations.

Results

Add your results here — registrations driven, event-day reach, engagement on post-event content, or any partnership outcomes tied to the campaign.

SWCA Summer Camp 2025
Seasonal Campaign Jun – Aug 2025

SWCA Summer Camp

Digital Marketing & Communications Coordinator — Southwest Washington Contractors Association

Goal

Promote a week-long construction education program for middle school students hosted at a local high school — driving student sign-ups, securing sponsors and volunteers, publicly thanking supporters, and sharing daily progress to attract further partnerships and community investment.

Process

Built a content calendar with registration deadline reminders leading up to the final sign-up day, sponsorship and volunteer recruitment posts, and a real-time coverage plan for each camp day. Coverage included on-the-ground photos, daily progress updates, and short interviews with students and volunteers to humanize the program and demonstrate its impact.

Results

Full registrations for every summer camp session. Add additional metrics here — reach, engagement, sponsors secured, volunteer sign-ups driven, or community feedback tied to the campaign coverage.

Coug Day at the Capitol
Civic Engagement Aug 2025 – Jan 2026

Coug Day at the Capitol

Director of Marketing — Associated Students of WSU Vancouver

Goal

Promote student awareness of and participation in Washington State's legislative session — culminating in Coug Day at the Capitol — across four social channels reaching the WSU Vancouver student body.

Process

Audited previous civic engagement campaigns to identify gaps. Built a mixed-media strategy spanning Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn — pairing high-energy event posts with legislative updates and student testimonials, tailored to each platform.

Results

Full roster of 25 students attended — an increase of 8 students from the prior year. Combined with a 23% average reach increase across all four channels over two semesters. Add any additional metrics here — sign-up timeline, top-performing post, or engagement rate.
